Abeona House Annual TRICK OR TREAT

This Friday, October 28th at 10am the kids from Abeona House Child Discovery Center will be leaving the 8600 block of Oak and heading down towards Carrollton and back up again for their 5th annual TRICK OR TREAT DOWN OAK! They would love to see merchants out and about! If you would like to participate and do not have candy Abeona House would be happy to drop some off for you! Just email Aliza@Abeonahouse.org

Massage Therapy Awareness Week

Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes Massage is celebrating National Massage Therapy Awareness Week!

Experts are available from October 25 – October 29 to answer questions, give demonstrations and to learn more about the benefits of massage.

Doors open from 10:30 am – 6 pm. Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes Massage is located at 8725 Oak Street within Salon Alphonse.

Mid-summer Mardi Gras 2011

Join the Krewe of O.A.K. at 8 pm for their annual 1.25 mile loop in celebration of Mid Summer Mardi Gras. O.A.K stands for Outrageous And Kinky so don’t expect to see the usual Mardi Gras parade floats… wear a costume and join in the parade.

All welcome, totally free. Enjoy the brass bands and bring a drink. Parade will end back at the Maple Leaf Bar around 11:30 p.m.
